An EXTREMELY old sketch (2003ish) I found while sitting in the Artists' Alley at Furry Weekend Atlanta (FWA) this past weekend. I was bored out of my mind, so I decided to slap a little color on this fella.

...Of course, it didn't help that the girl I was sitting next to had a ton of dragons in her portfolio. I couldn't help but feel the inspiration!

Thanks! I used to draw lots of dragons when I was younger, but haven't really done anything with them in quite some time. I kind of like the idea of this water dragon, so we might see him a little more... there's never any telling with my art!

very nice! i love the colors especially. Its strange to see a non-equine from you, but refreshing! I very much like the pose, and sheen reminds me a bit of blubbery skin. love it!

i'd love to see more things like this from you, expanding your areas of expertise could help you out..somehow..not sure where i was going with that...

I've actually drawn several things that are non-equine in the past few weeks, but most of them were on a commissioned basis and are in no way appropriate for DA. :blush: The most recently finished one was of a female bongo antelope and male nyala on the African Savannah, and the one I'm working on now is of a male black bear and female timberwolf. Yay things other than horses!
